The rockered midsole uses a new supercritical foam compound to maximise energy return and help reduce fatigue over longer efforts. A carbon-fibre plate sits within the midsole to add propulsion and stability, creating a responsive ride that remains controlled when the trail becomes uneven.

A superlight engineered woven upper keeps weight low while improving airflow, supported by an integrated flat-knit tongue that helps secure the foot without restricting breathability. A flat-knit collar improves fit around the ankle while helping keep dirt and trail debris from entering the shoe.

Underfoot, a Vibram Megagrip outsole with LITEBASE technology delivers durable traction without unnecessary weight. Stepped 4.5mm and 3.5mm lugs provide grip across dirt and mud while improving debris shedding, making the Sylan 2 a performance-focused option for faster trail running and longer mountain efforts.
