Made for technical mountain terrain and long off-road adventures, the Men's The North Face Offtrail Ultra combines lightweight cushioning, secure protection and aggressive grip for runners moving across rugged, unpredictable surfaces.

The dual-density DREAMBOUND nitrogen super-foam midsole uses a firmer outer and bottom layer for durability, protection and stability, while a softer inner layer provides rebound and lasting comfort. A 29mm heel stack and 6mm drop keep the platform cushioned without feeling overly disconnected from technical terrain.

A lightweight seamless dual-wrap upper secures the forefoot, while hydrophobic ripstop through the rear quarter adds durability in demanding conditions. A bonded internal frame improves lockdown, TPU overlays reinforce high-wear areas, and the integrated high-stretch SCREEGUARD gaiter helps keep rocks, dirt and other trail debris out.

Underfoot, the full-length SURFACE CTRL outsole uses lightweight THINWEB technology and 5mm lugs for dependable traction across rocky and technical ground. A dedicated scrambling zone at the toes, developed with athlete feedback, adds grip when moving over steep and challenging mountain terrain.
