The launch Proto colourway pairs Sea Glass and Phantom with Burgundy Ash and Laser Crimson accents, giving the Alphafly 4 a distinctive development-inspired look. Soft neutral tones highlight the sculpted midsole and exposed race-day technology, while sharper colour hits bring extra energy to Nike's latest marathon racer.
For the first time in Alphafly history, Nike has updated the Air Zoom unit to provide a softer, quieter feel with increased energy return. Two different ZoomX foams work together beneath the foot, combining highly responsive ZoomX with lightweight ZoomX LT for a springier ride, smoother transitions and less overall weight.
A wider carbon-fibre Flyplate creates a propulsive sensation while adding the stability needed over marathon distance. Up top, the updated Atomknit upper uses zones of open-hole mesh for enhanced breathability, with integrated midfoot cables helping keep the foot contained as the pace increases.
