Asics Megablast and Sonicblast: Expanding the Blast Legacy

Asics Megablast and Sonicblast: Expanding the Blast Legacy

The ASICS Superblast changed the game — a super trainer that’s become one of our most popular shoes of all time. Now, two new models have joined the Blast family, and after months of testing, we can confirm they deliver bounce in very different ways.

The Megablast brings maximum cushioning at the lightest weight, powered by full-length FF TURBO SQUARED foam for an ultra-bouncy, max-stack ride. The Sonicblast takes that same energy and adds a dual-layer midsole with a Pebax ASTROPLATE, turning it into a faster, more propulsive option for tempo runs and uptempo long efforts.

So how do they compare to the Superblast and Novablast? Read on to see how the Blast lineup now covers almost every kind of run.
